Job Description

The ideal candidate should bring substantial expertise to the table, encompassing both manual testing and automation testing, with a specific focus on utilizing Selenium and Java/C#. Their experience should span several key areas, including:

• Manual Testing: Proficiency in manual testing methodologies, techniques, and best practices to ensure the highest quality of software products.
• Automation Testing: Proven experience in automation testing, leveraging tools like Selenium in conjunction with Java or C# to streamline testing processes.
• Testing Types: Working familiarity with various testing types, including Functional, Regression, and Integration testing, aimed at guaranteeing the reliability and functionality of software systems.
• Test Script Development: The ability to write automation test scripts, develop testing frameworks, and apply Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) using tools like SpecFlow or Cucumber.
• Automation Framework: Experience in either developing or debugging and maintaining an existing automation framework, providing stability and efficiency in testing procedures.
• Analytical Skills: Strong analytical capabilities to comprehend business requirements and translate them into effective testing strategies.
• Database Proficiency: A solid understanding of databases, including the capability to write complex SQL queries for data validation and verification.
• Communication Skills: Excellent written and oral communication skills, facilitating clear reporting, documentation, and effective collaboration within a team.
• Agile Environment: Hands-on experience in an Agile software development environment, contributing to the rapid and iterative development process.
• UI Automation: Familiarity with UI automation frameworks such as Cypress.io for web automation and Appium for mobile automation, ensuring comprehensive test coverage across platforms.
• Rest API Automation: Experience in Rest API automation frameworks like RestAssured and Karate, enabling thorough testing of API endpoints and interactions.

Education + Experience:

Candidates for this position are required to have one of the following educational backgrounds:

1. Bachelor’s Degree:

   • A Master’s degree in a relevant field, such as Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline.

In addition to their educational qualifications, candidates should have a minimum of 3 years of practical work experience in information systems or a related field.
